Tryouts For The SDFL’s 2018 Season Begins

The SDFL will be conducting tryouts to find the best athletes for the 2018 Cancer Initiative Exhibition SDFL season! The athletes that tryout will have the opportunity to play in our annual fundraiser games. This years contest will be The Battle For A Cure Breast cancer game held in Little Rock Arkansas, Tackles 4 Teal Ovarian Cancer game held in Houston Texas, and our Plays 4 Purple Pancreatic Cancer game to be hosted in Charlotte NC.

ATHLETES:

The SDFL wants to give you as many chances as possible to showcase your skill’s on the field, however you must first be evaluated through our Regional Tryout process! That is the reason we will use our Charity Football Game as a final piece of our evaluation tool for our teams! Each state in the SDFL will have a Cancer Charity Weekend ending with our charity football contest between that states SDFL team’s. As a player you will go through the first portion of our Regional Tryouts which consist of combine exercises and 1 on 1 drills. From there your name will go into a draft pool in which team executive staff’s and coaches will draft the top 50 players for that particular team. Each team will be allowed 10 Alternate players to round off game rosters to 60 Players in all.

The Top 10 performers from the first portion of the Regional Combine will be invited to their team’s Draft ceremony.
Location TBA.
